Hi, I’m Bianca
I’m a heritage stonemason based in South Australia, specialising in traditional masonry, lime mortars, and the conservation of historic buildings.
Through my business, Taylor Made Heritage Restoration, I work on restoring and preserving stone structures with a strong focus on doing things the right way — using traditional methods that respect the original craftsmanship.
From small repairs to large-scale restorations, I take pride in delivering high-quality work that stands the test of time.
My Story
I didn’t just fall into this trade — I chose it because I genuinely care about heritage buildings and the stories they hold.
After completing my Certificate III in Stonemasonry and Heritage Trade Skills, I’ve gone on to work across a range of projects throughout South Australia, including regional and remote sites like Burra and Hawker.
What I love most about this work is the detail — understanding how something was originally built, then bringing it back to life using traditional materials like lime mortar. There’s a real responsibility that comes with heritage work, and I don’t take that lightly.
Alongside my on-site work, I also teach and mentor the next generation of tradespeople through heritage training programs. Passing on these skills is just as important as using them.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple:
to restore buildings properly, preserve their history, and leave behind work I’m proud of.
